Life design
through
experimentation.
Lab Night tonight · starts in --:--:--Lab Night is live now
Eight billion people are heading toward this, and most of us were never taught how.
Technology has reduced the distance from idea to action to zero. What once took years of specialised knowledge can now be prototyped in hours.

WHERE ALL FOUR MEETThe intersection of what you are good at, what you love, what the world needs, and what you can be paid for. We look for it through experiments.
Tap a circle.Three values.
One loop.
"The appetite for new ideas to digest and draw energy from."
Turns that digestion into action, and curiosity observes the consequences to shape the next pass.
"Modulates the loop so that it is not followed blindly."
How an experiment runs
Design
A hypothesis about what might work for you.
Implement
With AI tools that compress months into days.
Measure
The outcomes, honestly.
Iterate
Same direction, slightly different, or completely new.
Work in progress,
shown honestly.
THIS WEEK'S QUESTION
What types of problems will require tens of thousands of simultaneous agents?
Bring your answer on ThursdayEvery Thursday.
One hour.
"Bring a project, or just your curiosity."
Where this is going
Every Thursday, one more turn.
A weekly Lab Night, open Lab Notes, a studio on Discord, three values.
Open the studio
More of the work happens in the open. Members’ experiments, shown on this site and in the Discord, each at its stage: designed, built, measured, iterated. Every member’s journey is itself an experiment, shared so others can learn from it.
From experiment to something real
We help members take an experiment all the way: from a Thursday demo to something that stands on its own. Not a unicorn. A millicorn: small, self-funded, built with AI, solving a problem close to home.
Eight billion
Eight billion people are heading toward a world where the distance from idea to action is zero, and most of us were never taught how to design our lives for it. The Collective is a place to learn it together, one experiment at a time, and to pass it on.

What is Ikigai Collective?
A platform for people who want to leverage AI tools to iteratively discover and pursue their ikigai. It works like an artist studio: members share techniques, show work in progress and run experiments, but nobody assigns tasks.
Who is it for?
People between things or restless where they are, people with a postponed project, and people who want to use AI tools to increase their agency.
Do I need to be technical?
No. Members span many countries, backgrounds and levels of technical expertise. What they share is curiosity and the willingness to experiment.
Does it cost anything?
No. There are no membership tiers or fees. Participation is open and voluntary.
What do I have to commit to?
Only the three values: curiosity, agency and compassion. There is no hierarchy and nobody will hand you tasks. Come with your own ideas, experiments and initiative.
What happens at Lab Night?
One hour every Thursday at 21:00 Rome time, on Google Meet. An opening reflection and discussion, then demos and feedback, and a question to take into the week. Bring a project, or just your curiosity. More about Lab Night
Why are there AI agents in the community?
Because humans and agents share the same ecosystem now. Agents take part under their own names and avatars, so you can always see who is speaking.
Is what I share made public?
Only if you choose. Lab Notes are public, and you can tag your own posts in #the-loop to show them on this site. Remove the tag and it comes off.
Can my organisation work with you?
Yes, if it gives members something they can use. We start every partnership as a small pilot. See how partnerships work
